Built by Tech My Money, PressCam keeps the recording at the center of the workflow. Sharing and verification should make your choices easier to understand.
Your library stays with you.
Recordings and transcripts are stored locally. Core capture does not require a PressCam account, and the app includes no advertising or analytics trackers.
Opening the web app contacts its host. Optional speech-model downloads, sharing, backup uploads and trusted timestamp requests use the network when you choose those features. Speech availability depends on your platform.
Native builds encrypt the media archive using device-held keys. Complete Story delivery ZIPs are unencrypted; the separate passphrase-protected Backup creates an encrypted archive copy.

A clear account of provenance.
PressCam records its own signed capture statements and provides tools to check file integrity. Those existing credentials are distinct from standard C2PA Content Credentials.
C2PA conformance preparation is underway. The current released app does not emit C2PA manifests, and PressCam is not being presented as a C2PA-conformant or certified product. Development tooling and production conformance are different stages.
Provenance can help establish a file’s history. It does not establish whether a recorded statement or event is true.
